SIRINCE VILLAGE

Sirince village is located in the Selçuk district of Izmir province. The village is trendy for locals as well as tourists. In the village, they are making wine, traditional hand-made works. The Greek population was high in the village until mid. In the 1930s, but with the Exchange population between Greece and Turkey, the greeks had left the village.

The Şirince village has achieved to protect its traditional atmosphere so the stone houses are still standing and villagers are still living there. They produce pure olive oil and export it too far away.
