SAKLIKENT GORGE

Saklikent, or the Hidden City, was discovered by a shepherd in the 1950s. It is a 14 km canyon where the melting snow flows from the Tauros Mountain range down to the Esen River. Saklıkent has its own fauna and flora that houses Red Pines, Black Pines, and Cedar trees. The canyon is open to visitors, and there are some activities such as; canoeing, rafting, and mud bath. The restaurants are located by the river and offer traditional Turkish food and drinks. On the other hand, there is bungalow type of hotels that gives you different accommodation.
