Ince Minaret Madrasa or Stone and Wood Arts Museum is located in the Selçuk district of Konya. The madrasa was built during Sultan Izzeddin Keykavus and was commissioned by Vizier Fahreddin Ali, designed by the architect Keluk bin Abdullah in 1264.
It is the only covered court madrasa and has a single vaulted room with one side open to a court (iwan). The portal, located on the South, is one of the most beautiful samples of Seljuk architecture. Ince Minaret Madrasa had been functioned until 19C, between 1876-1899, it was renovated. In the 1950s, after the last renovations, the madrasa was converted into a museum called “Stone and Wood Arts Museum.”
