Pera Museum was originally designed by the architect Achille Manoussos as Hotel Bristol in 1893. The Foundation of Suna and Inan Kırac established the Pera Museum after the renovation of the Neoclassical building in 2005. The museum is located on Istiklal Street.
A private museum has three main collections; Orientalist Painting, Anatolian Weights and Measures, and The Kutahya Tiles and Ceramics.
