Derinkuyu Underground City is approximately 85 meters in depth. Like the other underground cities, Derinkuyu was a settlement of the ancient people in Cappadocia. It has sections such as; cellars, kitchens, stalls, wineries, and churches. They used to provide water via ventilation shafts which are still working to bring fresh air inside.

The length of the ventilation is 55 meters in depth. Only %10 of the underground city has been excavated so far. And it was discovered in 1965.
