Your pick-up will be scheduled for 08:30 am from the hotel to start the Antalya Old City Tour. Our Professional tour guide will be introducing the ancient sites of Antaya.

We start to Antalya Old City Tour. The Pergamon King Attalos founded Antalya, and it is believed that the name of the city derives from Attalos. Our first visit is to Duden Waterfall, located 10 kilometers away from Antalya city center. The fall splits into 2 parts; Upper Duden and Lower Duden. The Upper Duden; According to rumor between the year’s BC 334-333, when Alexander the Great conquered Pamphilya, he stopped his army between Lycia and Kilikya by the Duden Waterfall and watered his horses. The waterfall has lots of visitors from all over the world during the hot period in Antalya. Duden Waterfall has its own fauna and flora. You can feel the breeze and the sound of water among the trees—the lower Duden which flows down to the Mediterranean Sea from 40 meters cliff. Upon the season, we are visiting one of them.

After the fall, we drive to the old part of Antalya. We are walking among the ancient streets, and the first spot is The Hadrian Gate, built by the Romans on behalf of Emperor Hadrian upon his visit to Antalya in 130 AD. The gate has three arches and a Corinthian style. Hıdırlık Tower, built-in 2C AD by the Romans and is located in the southwest of the Old Town, by the cliffs’ dominating spot. Tower has a small room on the first floor, and in the upper gallery, there is an observation spot where they could follow the ships or any reaching invasion to the city. The Clock Tower, was once Antalya surrounded by a defense wall, but there is a small part that exists today. They renovated the last part of the defense wall and added a clock in honor of Sultan Abdulhamid to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his ascent to the throne. While walking down to the water, the ancient port is coming where we stop for a while and rest while following the ships and breathing Mediterranean fresh air.

After the Antalya Old City sightseeing tour, drive back to the hotel.
