GULHANE PARK

Gulhane Park (Rose House or Garden) is located in the Historical Peninsula of Istanbul on The Topkapi Palace’s western edge by the Bosphorus. 

It is believed that the inhabitants of Istanbul had settled here and founded Byzantion with the leadership of Byzas. Although there is no remaining of the first settlement, it is one of the most beautiful Istanbul gardens for those who need some rest and walk; Gulhane Park priceless spot. During the Ottoman Empire, the Gulhane Park was attached to the Topkapi Palace, where the sultans would spend time.
