Istanbul Islamic Science and Technology Museum

Istanbul Museum of the History of Science and Technology in Islam is located in Gulhane Park near Topkapi Palace. The museum houses replicas of the 9th and 16th-century scientific elements of Muslim scientists. The museum was opened on 25 May 2008. The replicas were made in Germany, depicting the original works and studies at that time.

The museum has sections such as; an astrolabe collection, an Islam observatory, clocks in ıslam, and Islam’s military objects.
